CSE Press Release: Training of CSE staff and officials

In order to continue the training of its official and staff members, the CSE organized a one-day seminar on Thursday, July 3, 2008 under the title “Globalization of Stock Exchanges”.

The main speaker of the seminar was Mr. Poul Eric Skaaning Jorgensen, former high ranking official of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and NOREX Alliance and current consultant on stock market issues, and was attended by CSE Council members and officials.

The seminar referred to the developments in the European Union after the enforcement of the MiFiD directive, analyzed the strategic cooperation and alliances of the stock exchanges in Europe and other issues of strategic growth that are under examination by the CSE.

The constant training of the CSE members and officials are among the top priorities of the CSE so that they are fully informed on the current developments of the international stock market. The main aim is that the staff contributes significantly to the CSE Council’s development plans.
