The Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Cyprus Transmission System Operator (TSO) have signed an agreement for the provision by the CSE of the required settlement services for transactions that will be executed upon the launch of the Competitive Electricity Market in Cyprus. Based on this agreement, as provided for by the legislation, the TSO will have the responsibility for the operation of the electricity market, while the Cyprus Stock Exchange, on the basis of the regulations and the relevant contract signed, will undertake the settlement of the executed transactions.
